Fire Prevention Week 2024 Canada. This year we will be holding our open house event on saturday, october 5 th, 2024 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at glenbrook fire hall (mcbride & east 6 th ave). And further, in appreciation of the many services rendered by the fire services of canada, we do designate saturday the ninth of october as “fire service recognition day”. This year’s campaign strives to educate everyone about the importance of having working smoke alarms in the home.
